Fredericksburg Anniversary Trip

Today is our anniversary!  
Last weekend, we got to get out of town for our sweet 16th!  Neither one of us had spent any time in Fredericksburg, Texas before, but had heard so many things about it.

SO much good food!!

Can't visit a German town without having some German food!

Our favorite part by far was the Wildseed Farm! 

It is the largest wildflower farm in the United States.

No cell phone camera can pick up the magnificence, but we tried anyhow!  It was the most perfect time of year to go.

We have been very blessed these 16 years, and are very thankful for the time away to celebrate just the two of us.  It was so good, of course, to get back to our little "olive shoots" too!!  We missed our children but were so thankful that we had loving hands that were willing to help out for a little while!
