Our New Van

Last week Whitley made an arrangement with a dealership in Arkansas to purchase a van I have been dreaming of a long time!  There’s a lot we like about the Nissan NV3500!  Never imagined the circumstances that would unfold for us to actually have one, but we are very thankful!  Lane Whitefield, our friend and Whitley's partner at work, was already headed to Kentucky for an annual  reunion with his marine platoon that week and was able to drop Whitley and Andrew off in Arkansas to pick up the van.  A very special thank you to him and especially for his service to our country!

Whitley took Andrew with him on the trip.  They had a great time and Andrew definitely got spoiled with plenty of cheeseburgers (his favorite) and good barbecue! Andrew was also so excited to show the family the van when they got home!

The purchase of the van is a bit of a downsize for us so I spent several days contemplating the least expensive way to do a combination of utilizing the seats we already had and see what different car seats we’d need for some kids.  One thing about small Bradberry kids is that they use car seats much longer than most!  So far it’d appear we only had to make one new purchase on a seat and one used purchase to get some car seats with a narrower footprint.  Didn’t really have to care about that in the big van!

Got them all installed and took the family to church in it this morning!
