Andrew is SEVEN!!!

Andrew Lee was born on September 16th, 2006 at 8:39 p.m.  We are so thankful and blessed by his wit and humor, his abilities and strength.  In keeping what I did with Abigail's blog last week, I thought I'd include another journal entry I made in that same journal that I thankfully found recently!  YAY!

I wrote this, Andrew, just days before you were born:

9/9/06
To my unborn son,
You are precious and holy.  You are chosen by God!  Conceived in love, and will soon be born in love.  Thank you for the blessing you already are to your awaiting family!
I pray right now for blessings of mercy and grace in your birth.  I pray for wisdom and peace.  I am overwhelmed with emotion.  God has blessed me so!  I ask him for forgiveness when I have taken those blessings far too lightly, and mocked His goodness when He brings challenges.  He is all-sufficient.  I claim that today.  I thank Him for all that He is!  I thank Him for you!  I thank Him for how unique and special He has already made you.  How rich and blessed I am because of you!  I can't wait to embrace you, my gift of life and love!

Your daddy LOVES you!  Was so proud to hold you high!

It's only fair to post a picture of Dr. Rakov holding you since he was quite responsible for delivering you safely with God's help.  Your birth story is truly unique from the rest of your siblings!

Proud siblings and O'ma!

We think you favor your great grandfather a lot!

"Can you see what I see?"

I feel it would only be fair for me to post pictures of the TRUE Andrew.  In keeping with my "C" theme that was unintentional at first.... he is COMICAL!  Any picture where he is posed in a way that I would consider "proper", is usually coerced out of him and only happens after about 4 retakes.  However, these goofy pictures are the real Andrew, and we really do love him JUST the way he IS!

Love this amazing kid!
